Evonik has been producing VESTAMID® polyamides for some 40 years. The product range covers molding compounds of polyamide 12, polyamide 612, polyamide 12 elastomers (PEBA), polyphthalamide, and, more recently, polyamides based on renewables. These materials have been used for decades by well-known manufacturers.

Designed for toughness

Temperatures in the charge air duct of charged engines can rise up to 170°C. Which is no problem whatever for VESTAMID^® HTplus: Its use in a Lotus Exige racing car has proven that it is even equal to the demands of tough racing conditions. And the PPA tube weighs only half as much as the conventional metal charge air duct.more
